The Legendary Pokemon of Kanto Region is back in the Raid Battles of Pokemon Go. In the Week 3 of September, Pokemon Go released Articuno in the 5-Tier Raid Battles. Now in the current Week, the Electric/Flying-type Pokemon Zapdos is appearing. Zapdos is also the one among the three Legendary Bird Pokemon of the Kanto Region. The Raid Battle of Zapdos started on September 25 at 1 PM. Trainers are excited to catch this Legendary Pokemon.
The great thing about Zapdos Raid is that if trainers are lucky, they can encounter the shiny form as well. The shiny form of Zapdos is incredibly amazing and worth catching. However, to win the Raid Battle, it is necessary to use the right counter Pokemon. Even though Zapdos is a Legendary Pokemon, it still has some weaknesses. You have to find those weaknesses and use them in the Raid Battle to win. Zapdos is an Electric/Flying-type Pokemon, so its major weaknesses are Rock, Ice, and Fire-type moves.

Tyranitar
Tyranitar is one of the best Pokemon you can have while fighting against Zapdos. Using Rock-type moves against a Flying-type Pokemon can put extreme damage. Tyranitar is a dual-type Pokemon that has both Dark and Rock-type moves. You can change its moves by using Fast TM and Charge TM. Set Smack Down as Fast move and Stone Edge as Charge move for victory.
Rhyperior
Rhyperior is a complete groundbreaker against Zapdos. Its “Smack Down” Fast move damage almost every Pokemon in the game. The great thing about Rhyperior is that it’s Smack Down move is not a Legacy move, so every trainer can carry it easily. Rhyperior is the best choice when it comes to the battle against Flying-type Pokemon. Set Smack Down as Fast Move and Rock Wrecker or Stone Edge as Charge move to win Raid Battle quickly.
Momoswine
Momoswine is the third evolution form of Swinub. It’s a Ground/Ice-type Pokemon, and it can be a great help in the Raid Battle of Zapdos. Momoswine carries an enormous power, so use Power Snow as Fast move and Avalanche as Charge moves in the battle. You can also use Stone Edge as a Charge move to deal great damage.
Mewtwo

Galarian Darmanitan is the second evolution form of Galarian Darumaka. It usually hatches from the 7km eggs. It’s a decent option for the battle if any trainer doesn’t have any powerful counter Pokemon. Use Ice Fang and Avalanche to put damage on Zapdos.
Houndoom
